FIRST PERIOD:
FUN FACT:Last time Rolston played for the Bruins Bergeron was 18 years old and Seguin was 12.
Chara drills Condra into the board in the neutral zone. . Call to Shanahan since the Bruins are the only team that gets penalized? (totally legal, just some snide sarcasm)
Wow! Spezza with the puck and it’s saved by Thoams, puck gets behind him with a wide open net Condra tries for a wrap around and somehow Thomas makes the scrambling save.
Bruins are having some trouble finding their rhythm right now, no rhyme or reason to how they’re working. They need to make better decisions with the puck. With a young goalie, they should be peppering him with shots right now.
Seidenberg with a drive, glove save by Lehner, first shot from the Bruins.
Thomas tries to get back to the near post as Spezza transfers the puck to the other side and he makes a save sitting down. Carrying the Bruins right now.
Tyler Seguin has one goal in his last 13, Bergeron makes a steal and attempts a shot, save. He looks for Seguin and is able to get inside position to re-direct on the backhand, gets denied.
Smith tried to take off Seidenberg’s head over by the bench and Seids is able to duck under and avoid it.

FUN FACT: Both times the Bruins have come from behind to win has been against Ottawa.
Big time save by Thomas by just dragging his left pad through, manages to get a toe on it and defense clears it out. VERY close call.
First Period Notes:
Bruins need to clean up their play in the neutral zone and step up their game period. They have no rhythm at all right now. With a young goalie playing in only his third professional game, they should have more scoring chances than 7. Their main focus needs to be staying out of the penalty box and keeping the puck in the offensive zone. Expect the Bruins to come out in the second roaring and ready to go with some rapid fire. . . hopefully.

SECOND PERIOD:
Corvo catching a lot of crap for being all talk and no fight, perhaps he just said it to take the focus off of his mistakes? I’ve got to agree with @ggooglyboogly when he says “put zanon in with big z for a sex-z d pairing”

Bergeron wins the opening face-off to start the second period.
Corvo gets taken down? I’m not even sure how he lost possession there but Ottawa took it and ran.
Chara and Chris Neil reigniting their hostility towards each other from the other night in front of Thomas’ net.
Seguin flies with speed and wrists one wide then comes back down to race Karlsson to beat the icing call but is edged out.
Thornton and Neil exchanging some shoves, tempers are beginning to flair. Things are picking up on the emotional side which could make or break Boston. Right now, it couldn’t hurt. McQuaid and Phillips having words as well.
Seguin with a couple nice opportunities but comes up short.

Bruins need to take the puck in and create offensive plays not dish it in and hope to get to it. They need to make it happen
Chara mishandles the puck in the offensive and has to chase Neil down the ice.

Second Period Notes:
The Bruins have been outshot 31-15 through the first two periods. They are lucky that Tim Thomas has been sharp tonight and are lucky it is only 1-0 at the end of two. Condra a nice pass to Foligno and missed the open net. If (and when) the Sens lose I am betting that’s the goal they are going to lose by. He’s going to be thinking of that all the way back to Ottawa.

Bruins have been sporting great third period efforts since their victory in St. Louis, they need to come out ready to play if they stand a chance at coming out on top tonight.
